The Arai Corsair-X Aluminum Silver is a Snell 2020 and DOT certified full-face motorcycle helmet built on Arai's PB-SNC2 shell with the VAS Variable Axis System shield, cut for an intermediate oval head shape and available in sizes XS through 2XL.

Head shape before size. The Corsair-X is an intermediate oval helmet — for a head slightly longer front-to-back than side-to-side, the most common shape. If yours is rounder, the Quantum-X is the model built for you; if it is long and narrow, the Signet-X. Size will not fix a shape mismatch.

Aluminum Silver is one of the Corsair-X solid finishes — the flagship race helmet without replica graphics. Light metallic finishes have a practical advantage worth knowing: they run cooler in direct sun than dark shells and show road grime far less than a matte black. Underneath it is the same helmet the replicas use — PB-SNC2 shell of Super Fiber and F-1-derived synthetic fibres, VAS shield with the pivot lowered around 24 mm, Type 12 diffusers.
