The Alpinestars Supertech R10 helmet is engineered for professional racing and high-performance riding, combining advanced impact protection, aerodynamic stability, and efficient ventilation in a lightweight design. Its layered composite shell uses a 3K high-density carbon outer layer, uni-directional carbon composite, aramid fiber, and fiberglass, bonded with epoxy resin to optimize the resin-to-fiber ratio. This construction enhances mechanical performance, limits outer shell deflection, and spreads impact forces across the EPS liner for improved energy management.

Inside, four optimized inner shells and an eight-piece, multi-density EPS liner use six strategically positioned densities to absorb impact energy across different zones. The smooth, low-friction liner surface helps manage linear and oblique impacts by reducing rotational forces transmitted to the rider’s head, neck, and spine. The A-Head Fitment System provides precise height and tilt adjustment for a secure, personalized fit.

Developed through CFD simulations and validated in wind tunnels and on the track, the helmet features lateral winglets and visor turbulators to reduce drag, wind noise, and turbulence while improving high-speed stability. Eleven ventilation points—seven intakes and four exhausts—include chin vents, adjustable top vents, and lateral and rear extractors. Integrated ducts circulate air over the rider’s head, remove heat, and help prevent visor fogging.
